Lotus flower 01
Lotus Flower is one of the most significant decorative motifs in Sri Lankan traditional art. It symbolizes so many moral human qualities such as beauty, purity, prosperity truth and honesty etc. Here I consider to represent the linear form of the lotus flower and symmetrical dividing spaces in light orange color with shades. Also used the red outline and dark background following the style of Sri Lankan Kandyan period murals. Two types of decoration motifs are here.

Series of musical instruments with six individual units. Every musical instrument has its own evaluation through history. I wanted to depict the character of instruments and their historical value of it. Here I used a pale color scheme to get the ancient feel and tried to keep the material quality and harmony with the background. Also added an extra value to the background by putting some symbols and Part of musical instruments is to improve the feeling of the music.

Three individual painting units are based on rhythm and musical tones created through musical instruments. I used green for my feelings to express variations of tonal effects with the color shades and tones. I tried to get the depth and contrast of sound.
